We are so lucky to be located just a short drive away from the Art Museum at the Rhode Island School of Design. With a wide variety of art genres, there is something for everybody. I have found children to be particularly impressed by the Egyptian Art section. There is an actual mummy and sarcophagus enclosed in a glass case. A. Real. Mummy. (I've found that the adults are equally impressed.) To make the museum a more enjoyable experience for families, there are several programs set up targeting a variety of age brackets.
